1. Adjust your mindset

Most people think they more money to live off than they do.

If you live off $100k, tell yourself you can live off $80k. You will naturally adjust your spending over time.
Saving you more money than you’d expect

2. Use a stress free budget

The easiest budget is the 80/20 budget. 80% of your income goes to expenses. 20% goes to saving.
By avoiding cost categories and paying yourself first. You guarantee you’ll save a ton of money every month

3. Assess your Big 3

70% of your income goes towards three things:
1. Housing
2. Transportation; and
3. Food

These are the expenses that when cut will save you the most money. Review them regularly

4. Trick yourself into spending less

Do you really want that new phone or handbag?

If you think you do, write down the date 30 days from now. In 30 days, ask yourself if you still want that item.

If so, buy it. If not, you’ve just saved yourself some cash

5. Negotiate recurring expenses

We all have bills but few negotiate our rates.

Call up your phone, insurance, car provider and negotiate. Most will want to keep you on and will lower their fees

Getting part of your money is worth more than getting none of it

6. Opt for used instead of new

Buying anything new comes at a premium. Let someone else pay this cost while you capitalize.

The best used buys are:
- Cars
- Tech
- Tools

If you can, seek out items with warranties. Which, someone may have also paid on your behalf!
