Just in: ASUU Yet to be invited by Federal Government; Extends Strike By 12 Weeks

A statement signed by ASUU president, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, said this was to give the government enough time to satisfactorily resolve all the outstanding issues.

According to ASUU the decision was taken after its National Executive Council meeting which started on Sunday night at the Comrade Festus Iyayi National Secretariat, University of Abuja.

ASUU President, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke. also Said, "ASUU did not receive any invitation from the Federal Government, they did not call us. We are not begging them to meet with us and we will not go to them if they do not invite us."
