HON. COSMAS IKECHUKWU OTABA

Hon Cosmas Ikechukwu Otaba (CIO) was born into the family of Late Chief Anthony Otibo Nwabụeze Otaba and Late Lọlọ Florence Ọmada Nwabụeze Otaba on 10th October, 1975 in Nrobo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Federal constituency in Enugu North Senatorial Zone, Enugu State, Nigeria.

HIS EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Hon Cosmas Ikechukwu Otaba (CIO) in his early years attended his Primary Education at Central School, Nrobo and obtained his Secondary School Education at St. Theresa's College, Nsukka. He thereafter, obtained his first degree in Banking and finance (B.Sc) Lagos State University. Hon Otaba proceeded to University of Nigeria, Nsụkka (UNN), where he obtained his PGD in Economics, 

PGD in Public Administration and Local Government and M.Sc in Public Administration and Local Government - all in the same prestigious University of Nigeria. He also obtained PDE in Peaceland.

Hon Cosmas Ikechukwu Otaba (CIO) also attended Word of Faith Bible Institute where he obtained:

2. Leadership Certificate Course. 2020

Hon Cosmas Ikechukwu Otaba (CIO) is a successful Businessman cum mogul. He has a factory and company establishments. He is:

3. Chief Executive Officer of Equitorial Technology West Africa Limited.

POLITICAL CAREER

Hon Cosmas Ikechukwu Otaba (CIO) is a seasoned politician who has served in many capacities and he has contributed and is still contributing his quota immensely in the polity. Hon Otaba had served diligently as an Executive Assistant to the former Governor His Excellency Hon Sullivan Chime and the current Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Rt Hon Lawrence Ifeanyịchukwu Ugwuanyị, between 2014 and 2016 respectively. He has served as a Board member, United Palm Produce Limited Enugu State UPPL. Feb, 2014 to 2020; and present Administrator, IGBOANO Development Council Area. Uzo-Uwani LGA

HUMANITARIAN SERVICES (CHARITY)

Hon Cosmas Ikechukwu Otaba (CIO) is very empathetic to the less privileged in the society. In his magnanimity, many intelligent Primary School Pupils and Secondary School Students from indigent families are on his Scholarship. Many widows are on his payroll as Welfare Packages. Hon Otaba is widely known for his Community Services. He keeps organizing seminar orientation cum sensitization for the teeming youths against social vices prevalent in our contemporary society. He has intermediated with Governments in different dispensations for basic social amenities, which has yielded much fruits. Borehole Potable Water and restoration of power supply are good examples. He has equally brokered peace in the Community and other numerous things to mention.
