ASUU Strike: Man writes NANS & NAUS to block Road leading to National Stadium for Nigeria/Ghana World Cup Qualifiers

A tweep has called the attention of National association of Nigerian Students (NANs) and National Association of University Students (NAUS) to mean business towards the suspension of the lingering ASUU Strike.

He calls on the two apex student Body ably led by Comr. Asefon and Comr. Mujaheed Shuaibu to release a circular to stage Protest on Tuesday when the Nigeria Super Eagle will be hosting Ghana for the return leg of the World Cup qualifier.

He further admonished NANS & NAUS to block all the roads leading to National stadium(MKO Abiola Stadium) and political offices thereby stopping the game.

According to him, this will result to FIFA sanctioning Nigeria and exposing the academic strike to other countries.

He strongly believes that the Federal Government will act fast towards the suspension of the strike if all these is done.

It should be recalled that, following the unfavorable outcome of Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) NEC meeting held on Sunday 13th March, 2022 at University of Abuja, wherein among other resolutions are to extend ongoing warning strike for another 8 weeks.

ASUU embarked on a one-month warning strike on February 14, 2022 over what it viewed as government's unfaithfulness towards the implementation of the Memorandum of Action it signed with the union.
