The Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Students Union, the Apex body of all Students of the Igbo Nation and of Igbo Extraction Mourns with the Ekweremadu’s and Enugu State Government

The scriptural text, encourages the members of the Christendom to mourn with those who mourn.

The entire Students of Igbo Land under the Leadership of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Students Union represented by the National Vice President(Enugu) Igboeli Kenechukwu sixtus, The Director Gender affairs to the National Vice President, Odoh Ogechukwu, Okwesili Onyedikachukwu(Protocol Officer) and Nnaji Franklin(National Director Contact and Mobilization) paid a condolence visit to an elder statesman, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Prof. Ike Ekweremmadu (IKEOHA NDI IGBO). On the sudden demise of his younger brother Rt Hon Chief Matthias Ekweremmadu, who till his demise was serving the state government as the commissioner of transportation.

The Vice President Ohaeneze Ndi Igbo Students Union expressed how pained the Students of Igbo Nation are , he also prayed that God would grant Enugu State Government and the Ekweremadu’s the fortitude to bear the great loss.

The Director Gender Affairs National while speaking unbehalf of the Female Students stated that Late Hon. Ekweremadu was that Change desired of the world and made the world a better place through his proactiveness and consistency. Miss Ogechukwu in her speech stated that though dead his (Hon. Ekweremadu of the blessed Memories ) Legacies lives.

She also prayed that the almighty grants the deceased eternal rest and that the Ekweremadu’s and State Government be divinely insured in the cause of bearing this memories which are forever in our hearts.

In reaction, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Prof. Ike Ekweremmadu (IKEOHA NDI IGBO) who was in company of Barr Okezie Nwanjoku heartily welcomed the delegates, appreciated them and gave them an uncommon fatherly advice, as Student leaders.
