The FEDERATION OF ENUGU WEST STUDENTS (FEWS) paid a condolence visit to the family of Rt Hon Chief MATHIAS EKWEREMMADU Jnr (OON) and to his elder brother Dist Sen Prof IKE EKWEREMMADU (CFR) over the demise of their father, brother, uncle, and son Rt Hon Mathias Ekweremmadu Jnr whom passed onto glory on Thursday.

The FEWS delegation was led by the National President Comr Franklin Missa Chidera U. and some members of the executive council and local government association Presidents.

Comr Franklin Missa described late Chief Mathias Ekweremmadu

as a father, mentor, role model and institution of goodwill. He said that his sudden death is a big blow to all Enugu West student describing it as a collective lost to the students and the people of Enugu west in general. 

Comr Franklin Missa assured the family that their prayers and thoughts are with them in this hard time and pray God gives them the fortitude to bear the lost.

Speaking to the team, Prof Ike Ekweremmadu showed his appreciation with the FEWS team for founding in their busy academic schedule to visit them. He bemoan the death of his brother whom he said have been in the business of mentoring young people.

Hon. Basil speaking on behalf of the immediate family thanked the team for coming and advised them to keep on representing the good works of Mathias Ekweremmadu Jnr.
