JUST IN: NIMC extends NIN-SIM linking

The Federal Government today

Tuesday January 19th, extended the synchronisation of SIM cards with the National Identity Number, NIN, to February 9, 2021 for different categories of subscribers respectively.

A tweet by the Nigeria Identity Managment Commission, NIMC, indicated that Nigerians and legal residents are to enroll for their National Identification Number (NIN) and link them before the deadline.

All Nigerians and legal residents are advised to enroll for their national identification number(NIN) and link them before february 9th, 2021. Enroll for your national identification NUMBER (NIN) today!!!

Please remember, nin enrollment is FREE.”
