RE: Visitation and Donation by the Dean of Students' and Students’ Union Government to A Critically Sick Union Member in Need

1. On Thursday, 24th of December 2020, the Office of the President of the Senate brought to the attention of our indefatigable and well-meaning Dean of Students'; Prof. Edwin Omeje, the precarious and deteriorating health condition of our fellow student; Onyiauga Ivy Ada.  Ada is a final year student of Food Science and Technology under the Faculty of Agriculture Senatorial District.

2. She is currently at UNTH, having been diagnosed of End stage kidney failure due to Polycystic Kidney Disease. She is currently on a-three-time dialysis per week, intermittent blood transfusion and myriad medications with dietary restrictions and needs Kidney Transplant Urgently.

3. It is worthy of note that our Dean of Students' is a compassionate man and his Willingness to act cannot be overemphasized. In his magnanimity, he attracted the sum of ₦1,000,000.00 (One Million Naira) to help in relieving the huge health expenses on Onyiauga, Ivy Ada.

4. Today by 1pm, The Dean of Students' alongside SUG Officials present visited Ada at UNTH Ozalla Enugu to offer our donation and prayers for her speedy recovery.
