Youth group scores Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi high in five years of active performance.

Noble Youth Mass Support Association (NYMSA) SouthEast Zone scores His Excellency, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Executive Governor of Enugu State high as he celebrates his five years in office as the Governor of Enugu state. The scores are based on security, youth inclusiveness in governance, women participation in politics, Human capacity development, infrastructural and rural development.
In an interview with NYMSA SouthEast Acting Zonal Coordinator, Comr. Offiah Kingsley Ndubuisi he stated that His Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has done so well as the Executive Governor of Enugu State. According to Comrade Offiah, His Excellency has performed so well in securing the lives and properties of Ndi Enugu. On assumption of office in 2015, he personally handed Enugu over to God Almighty who is the overall Chief security of every human on earth. He also strengthened, supported and continually supports The Nigeria police and other security agencies within the state. His Excellency didn't only create the neighborhood watch but he gives them all the necessary support to work, he also created the forest guards to secure all the farm lands in Enugu thereby limiting the negative impact of Fulani herdsmen. Truly Enugu is in the hands of God.

In terms of Youth inclusiveness in governance, the youth occupies 90% of his Excellency's cabinet. He believes in the abilities of youths irrespective of gender. To accommodate more youth participation in governance and politics, His Excellency just created for the first time the office of technical Assistants to the Governor (TA) and all appointed to these positions are youths. He believed in catching them young and giving them political and leadership exposure.
Women participation in politics, Ugwuanyi has remained the only governor who has given the women their rightful position in government, from his first term in office he used Her Excellency, Hon Mrs Cecilia Ezeilo as the Deputy Governor of Enugu State (a woman), first of its kind. Not only that, he has appointed more women as head of some government institutions, agencies and parastatals than any other Governor so far.
Human capacity development, Governor Ugwuanyi's administration has developed many programs that are centered on human capacity development, training on small skill acquisition, promotion and Support for SMEs, creation of business friendly environment etc.
Infrastructural and rural development, Comrde Offiah stated that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has done well in terms of urban structural development. "we witness more Estate developments during this administration." He is also constructing roads and opening up rural areas to drastically reduce rural-urban migration.
Comr. Arc. Chigozie E. Asogwa, NYMSA Enugu State Coordinator in line with the zonal Coordinator said that the Governanor has performed extemly well, he said if not for anything the peace and unity enjoyed in Enugu State is one in a million, he also thanked the zonal team that carried the state performance evaluation and assured his continuous Support to zonal and national body of Noble Youth Mass Support Association.

Finally, Offiah said that following the steps and standards set by NYMSA in scoring the performance of Governors in Nigeria, Ugwuanyi has done excellently well and needed to be appreciated and encouraged to do more in his remaining three(3) years in office. In line with NYMSA policy an award of excellent performance will be presented to his Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on his five years in office from our national office. Congratulations to His Excellency in advance, truly Enugu is in the hands of God.
