FELICITATION TO THE PEACE LOVING GOVERNOR
Bringing Enugu to the Limelight: Felicitating with His Excellency Rt.Hon.Dr.Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on his 5 years of Good Governance in Enugu State
Will there be a mention of good governance in Nigeria without including the impressive administration of Gov. Ugwuanyi?
It's quite amazing how our dear Governor has performed excellently well in the areas of education, health, employment, infrastructure, increased IGR, security, peace and equal distribution of the dividends of democracy.
On education, he employed over 5,000 teachers for the primary and secondary schools in the state. In addition, not less than 500 primary and secondary schools have been constructed and equipped with standard whiteboards, desks and tables.
That notwithstanding, he also gave scholarships to over 1,000 students of Enugu State.
Gov. Ugwuanyi is a great believer that health is wealth. This has led to the construction and renovation of different specialist general hospitals in the state. The recent upgrading of Colliery hospital has given credence to this.
Unforgettably, his handling of the coronavirus pandemic is top-notch and admirably commendable.
Enugu is one of the cleanest states in Nigeria. The employment of thousands of road sweepers and ESWAMA officials made this possible.
The numerous construction of roads in rural and urban areas has helped in easy movement. Yesterday, he commissioned the road linking Abakpa to Emene.
Would there be a peaceful society without the security of lives and property? Our distinguished Governor has succeeded in making Enugu the most peaceful state in Nigeria.
At this juncture, I want to felicitate with the Governor for making Enugu a home for all. Truly, this 5 years in office has brought the intended good governance we all seek in Enugu.
