The S.A to the Governor on Students Affairs in Collaboration with NANS stormed the University of Nigeria, Nsukka For The 'Campaign against Electoral Violence' Tour on 14th Dec, 2018.  The Campaign Lecture which is Scheduled to Start by 11:00am at CEC Hall started by 1:00Pm.

Comrades at The Event

The Opening prayer was said by The UNN SUG President, Comrade Fortunatus Chimezie  Immediately the S.A and his Entourage Settled down.

Afterwards, The Compere of the event acknowledged notable personalities in attendance which included; Hon. Comrade Ilogebe Chidi(S.A to the Governor on Students Affairs) , Mr. Onyima Humphrey( The Leadership Scorecard newspaper C.E.O), Comrade Abajoe(One time Senate President, SUG UNN), Mr.Chinedu Asogwa(Resource Person), Comrade Achonye Obinna, Comr. Minister Udochukwu, Comr. Obetta Chika, Comrade Ejike Nnaji(NANS JCC P.R.O), Comr. Victor Ezenagu(NANS Zone B Secretary) , Pastor Steven Odoh(Former ESA President) and all other Comrades.

Students at The Event

Comr. Ilogebe In his opening remark apologized for the lateness of the event while stating categorically that the Tour is not a political party campaign. He declared that the theme of the campaign will be discussed by the resource persons.

UNN Students

Comr. Abajoe Udenu, who was a Former SUG Senate President of the Hosting University made it known that he is delighted to be in the event for two reasons. One being that this is his alma mater and the other being that he once presided over the union Senate chamber. Without Mincing Word, he said "that he believes that by the time this campaign tour will be over, thuggery and Electoral Violence will be a Bygone Subject in Enugu State"

Mr. Onyia Humphrey who was once a Senator in Student Union and a Director in NANS Assured that this Campaign Or  Exercise ultimate goal is to seek and identify with Non- Electoral Violent Core Campaigners.

Mr. Chinedu Asogwa , Who is the Secretary to the Sports Council, UNN in his Presentation rolled out the effects of Electoral Violence Which he said includes ' That it affects our Rule of Law' and prayed that the 2019 General Election be Violent free.

Mr. Igboke Onyebuchi who Facilitated the Event asked students of their Expectations while coming for the Lecture. Students Stood up pointing out Refreshments, while the other pointed out that he wants to know ways by which thuggery can be avoided in 2019 General Election and what students must do to avoid been used.

Onyebuchi Stated that Thuggery is a Process by which Election is disrupted, Insisting That Electoral Violence is Capable of Launching Nigeria into Total Anarchy. Trying to know some of the Reasons why Students fail to participate in Electoral Processes, **Sen. Juliet Chimuanya**  Said 'Intimidation By the Uniformed Men' is one of her Reasons while **Marvelous** Said 'The Entrepreneurial Nature of the Igbo's is the reason.

Comrade AustinePaul Okpara(EkpoRef) in his Reasons Noted that it is Apathy, As majority of the student murmured that their vote don't Normally count. 

Mr. Onyebuchi in his possible Solution to the problems descry,  'that If we the Igbo People don't vote,  we will make their work easy for them( Election Riggers)', Therefore Our youth Must understand the powers embedded In our Vote and reject any Enticement to disrupt the process through thuggery or engaging in Political apathy.

In Conclusion, the Students Pointed out the Implications of Electoral Violence and Thuggery  they have learnt, which includes Loss of lives and Voter Apathy while declaring total Support for Campaign against Electoral Violence, Political Apathy and Thuggery.

Then, The S.A to the Governor Issued out certificate of participation to every Student while pleading to all students present to take this campaign back to their respective  homes.

Finally, the UNN SUG President in his closing remark wished everyone safe Journey as they retire back home while Pastor Steven Odoh Said the Closing prayer.
