Insight: NANS AN ARM OF POLITICAL PARTY ANCHOR BY NON STUDENTS OR NUNS OF IDEOLOGY CHAMPION BY CONCERN STUDENT?

NANS AN ARM OF POLITICAL PARTY ANCHOR BY NON STUDENTS OR NUNS OF IDEOLOGY CHAMPION BY CONCERN STUDENTS ?

NUNS - National Union Of Nigerian Students

I am disturbed with the unarguable reasons stated therein as ration for Rebirth of the defunct NUNS then I gave my node with a prayer. May NUNS Succeed if it's for the betterment of Nigeria students.

But very unfortunate today I came across a response or a reaction so to say by unnamed author Claiming NANS STILL REMAIN THE ONLY APEX STUDENTS STRUCTURE IN NIGERIA NOT NUNS.

In my usual way as genuine academic Nigerian student who is full of live, hope and aspiration for improve education system, adequate welfare and fair treatment of student community in the country, I read through the pages, line by line and I see lost of Direction in the write up, I was force to ask if the writer is a student at all or may be he or she just came on board in tertiary institution or possibly just return from Ghana.

Because only uninformed Nigerians both students and the masses will argue the important and purposeful outlive of NANS as apex student body in Nigeria.

The writer in response refused to disclaim the lost of ideology, political hijack, Domination of Non student and over bearing of professional student in the Said NANS referring to this  just concluded political jamboree called Unity Convention
where Aspirants Studentship screening result was not publicise.

Where student delegates election bided for 3 days turn  almost one week just to frustrate legitimate students out of the process for the professional to take over.

Where political party sponsored candidates and bought votes with huge cash.

Where the communique sing praises on incumbent Government with out addressing single student issues affecting the student community including the recent JAMB EXTORTION.

Where candidate who is not from the political party that control the process are denied right to contest and stand for the election while winners are declare even with out voting process.

It's obvious NANS has outlive its importance, it is now a political party student ARM Anchor by Non Students control by jobless graduates.

The funniest part is that they serve only the party in power as before it was NANS of PDP now it is NANS of APC.

 Instead for Nigeria students to losses voice completely, if NUNS will compliment let not castigate or mislead ourselves. NUNS should be a welcome development, When there is alternative, competition set in and all its for the benefit of Nigeria students. National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN, Nigeria Youth Congress NYC, Youth Assembly Of Nigeria YAN, Nigeria Youth Parliament NYP , Nigeria Labour Congress NLC and United Labour Congress ULC are all existing in Duplicate with no crisis.

If government established agencies in duplicate that is to testify for a need for alternative to measure competency and effectiveness  if  EFCC and ICPC, VIO and FRSC can exist in duplicate, The Return of NUNS is never An Abomination.

Let There Be Credible ALTERNATIVE for Competition, I am sure this may call off NANS  warming Up to Resume usual Business as political Party Primary Commences, Declaration/Endorsement of Candidate on behalf of students  without Legitimate Students Consent usual deal.
